J.A. Hardman Sixes Competition

Unfortunately the 2007 John Hardman Sixes was washed out on Sunday 1st July at Conwy Cricket Club. Six teams had registered to play: Bodelwyddan-Tŷ Fry, Conwy Colts, Llandrillo College, Lex, Rhos Fynach Taverners and Ysgol Pen Y Bryn. Thanks to Eddie Downes and Conwy CC for their efforts.

Dave, Gaz and Andy of Ysgol Pen Y Bryn at the John Hardman Sixes on Sunday July 1st which was unfortunately washed out.

2006

The 2006 Sixes competition once again followed the successful Sunday format of recent years and was held at Conwy Cricket Club's Bodlondeb ground on SUNDAY 11th JUNE. Many thanks to Conwy CC and all who organised.

Mr Eddie Downes once again set the format for the day with the blessing of the Management Committee, thanks to him for his efforts.

The following 8 teams competed for the 2006 Trophy:

Bodelwyddan-Tŷ Fry/Abergele CC (Combined Team) - HOLDERS

Conwy Celts; Conwy Sunday VI; Lex; Llandrillo College; Mochdre; Rhos Fynach Taverners;  Ysgol Pen Y Bryn.

Unfortunately Conwy Colts withdrew on the day, therefore the format was amended accordingly.

League Matches to be 3 overs per innings; each team must play different opening batsmen per game during the group matches. Top 4 teams qualify for the Semi-Finals.
