Secretary’s Report – Darren said that some results were missing and got clarification on these. Week 3 - Llandrillo College: Result card still in their captain's bag!! Match was rained off. Week 5 - Celts had been re-arranged at a previous meeting. Week 4 - Rydal Penrhos had not been played. Darren appealed for results to be passed on in time.

Eddie Downes requested the entries - these totalled 6 teams. Bodelwyddan-Tŷ Fry, Conwy Colts, Llandrillo College, Lex, Rhos Fynach Taverners and Ysgol Pen Y Bryn. Queries were made about the weather and money back if cancelled - suggested that Conwy CC were recouped any expense before this would be possible. Probably be played on the artificial strip-decision to be made on Sunday. 10am start confirmed. Umpires needed to help run the event smoothly.
Fixture Re-arrangements
Alan Camsell and Darren Dentith re-iterated Rule 14: All matches should be played strictly to the fixture list. Teams should confirm all matches with each other at least two days before they are due to be played. No match is to be re-arranged unless sanctioned by the Management Committee.
Geoff Hawley requested that the game between Mochdre Colts and Robertsons be moved to the Tuesday or Wednesday of the same week-this was granted.
Huw Roberts apologised on behalf of Rydal Penrhos for any mistakes or annoyances caused - these were not made on purpose. Huw took over as Secretary at the last minute alongside Patrick Leach but as neither work at the school there have been one or two initial problems.
Clifton Robinson asked if it would be possible to raise the issue of re-arrangements at the AGM?
Alan Camsell said how good it was to see a Rydal representative at a meeting.
Huw Roberts said there was sometimes a fine line between playing and calling a game off. He requested that the Rydal games v Pen Y Bryn (Week 10) and Llandrillo College (Week 11) be re-arranged? These were granted but he was asked to give more notice in future as the Pen Y Bryn game was meant to be next week.
Darren raised the question about the Week 4 match between Llanrwst and Rydal-why had this not been played?
Huw said that Rydal couldn't play on a Wednesday (CBCC Nets) and it was his error to call it off. As this was clearly Rydal's fault as they couldn't raise a team, it was suggested that Llanrwst be awarded the match 5-0. The Committee agreed to this by a majority vote.
Darren then read an e-mail he had received from Andrew Bohana at St. David's College stating the result of their Week 12 match with Caerhun!! He was rather surprised as we're only in Week 9. The only facts the Committee heard were what was in the e-mail - that a Week 12 match had been played during Week 9 without the consent of the Committee or any correspondence with the League Secretary. St. David's wished to play the game early as their term was due to finish-the reason was entirely fair and accepted by those present.
After much debate and discussion the Committee decided to declare the match 0-0 (null & void). Under Rule 13e the Committee continued their discussion and refused to accept the re-arrangement. It was unanimously agreed that both teams be deducted 5 points each. Darren expected both teams to give their side of events under appeal at the next meeting.
Any Other Business
- Dilwyn Roberts explained that a velux window at Bethesda CC had been broken by a ball during an Evening League game and asked where they stood with insurance. Elaine said she had trouble with the insurers but would chase this up once a formal request from the Bryn Y Neuadd team had been received. She also said that she may seek advice from previous Treasurer's Mike Bates and Alan Lavery.
- Darren ended the meeting on a positive note as he had had corresepondence with Eirias High School with regards to them enterring a team in 2008.
Meeting closed at 20.11
